About MITA
MITA was founded to provide a space to share expertise among the many schools in the region of Northern Italy. Teaching so many of the same classes, we have a unique opportunity to connect, discuss and grow. We are proud to offer two days of learning, connecting and reflecting! Join us for one or both days.

Mini-Keynotes |
Each year, we invite members from our talented community of teachers to share their wisdom during the opening and closing of the conference. Instead of a single keynote, we organize four 12-minute presentations, each by a faculty member from a different school. These talks are designed to share teaching philosophies, stories, inspiration or techniques.
Please see an Mini-Keynote presented at MITA at the following link: Everyone Can Learn If you are interested in applying for this high-profile role, please fill out the proposal form by November 6, 2022. You will be notified quickly upon receipt of the application, and our selection of speakers will be announced in mid-December. Selected Mini-Keynote speakers will attend MITA for free. |
Workshops |
Workshops at MITA are led by teachers, with teachers in mind, and are accordingly focused on practical applicability. They cover a wide array of pedagogical techniques, hands-on activities, technological tools and management methods. Each attendee at the conference will be able to attend one morning and one afternoon session, so choose wisely.
If you are interested in leading a workshop, please fill out the proposal form by November 18. Selected workshop leaders will attend MITA for free. The full list of workshops offered will be posted on this website by December 1. |
Job-alike sessions
|
Unlike workshops, a job-alike focuses on specific courses or subjects. They present an opportunity for groups of teachers with the same class to share resources and ideas, while tackling difficulties unique to their field. As such, job-alike sessions are mostly discussion-based and are led by experienced educators from the region. Each attendee at the conference will be able to attend one job-alike.
If you are interested in leading a job-alike, please submit a proposal by November 30 using the appropriate form. Selected job-alike leaders will attend MITA for free. The full list of job-alike sessions will be posted on this website by December 11. |
